Banca Generali, one of Italy’s largest banks, is providing Bitcoin services. In early 2022, the bank’s more than 300,000 customers will be able to purchase, sell, and hold BTC.

Customers of Banca Generali will be able to purchase and sell the most well-known cryptocurrency via the Conio Inc platform, according to the article. Bank COO Riccardo Renna stated that this step is part of the bank’s long-term plan to provide its customers with innovative digital asset trading experiences.

“Once the integration is complete, customers will be able to securely interact with the new asset class (BTC), which can be extremely risky if mishandled. We know that the future structure of the financial markets will certainly be influenced by the blockchain technology that continues to make its way. We are working with Conio at various tables to study possible blockchain adaptations to our processes and systems.”
