A committee of fintech experts predicts that the price of ethereum will reach $6,500 before the end of the year. It will then more than double to $26,338 by 2030, from $10,810 in 2025.

Finder, a pricing comparison website, revised its ether (ETH) price estimates on Tuesday. According to the company, “Ethereum will jump to US$6,500 by the end of 2022, according to Finder.com’s panel of fintech specialists.”

Furthermore, “Ethereum is expected to hit $10,810 by 2025 before more than doubling to $26,338 by 2030, according to the average of the panel’s forecasts.”

The business claimed that a panel of 33 fintech specialists was polled from January 6 to January 17 this year and that 26 of the 33-panel members predicted the price of ETH.

The fintech experts are more pessimistic about ETH price estimates than they were in October of last year.

At the time, the panel anticipated that ether’s price would reach $5,144 per coin by the end of 2021. It would then climb to $15,364 by the end of 2025 and $50,788 by the end of 2030.

Finder commented in response to the disparities in price projections between this year and October of the previous year:

“The panel’s prediction of the value ethereum may reach by 2030 has been dialled back significantly. The positive outlook for price growth in the cryptocurrency market was heavily affected by increasingly tightening international regulations and tumbling current values in early 2022.”

According to Bitcoin.com Markets, the price of ether is $3,182 at the time of writing, up 18.3 percent in the last seven days and 3.1 percent in the last 30 days.

Finder also added:

“Sentiment from the panel towards ETH is strong, with over 80% having neutral to positive outlooks for its future. Over half (52%) of the panel think now is the time to buy ETH, with 30% saying you should hold onto what you’ve got. Just 19% say it’s a good time to get out.”
