Warren Buffet Said He Wouldn’t Buy The Whole Of Bitcoin Even For 25 Us Dollars

Warren Buffett, the billionaire financier who recently lamented about not knowing where to put his money, stated cryptocurrencies are not a productive asset and that he would not buy all the bitcoin for even $25.

The 91-year-old believes that assets must have a tangible monetary worth and that only one currency is acceptable, and it is not cryptocurrency.

“If you told me you owned all the bitcoin in the world and you offered it to me for $25, I wouldn’t take it. What would I do with it,” Buffett stated.

The billionaire said at a Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder meeting that cryptocurrencies are not a productive asset that produces anything tangible.

“Whether it goes up or down in the next year, or five or 10 years, I don’t know. But the one thing I’m pretty sure of is that it doesn’t produce anything,” he added.

Buffett stated that he had invested billions of dollars this year despite taking shots at Wall Street.

He answered questions for five hours at his holding company Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting in Omaha, Nebraska, the corporation’s first in-person gathering since before the Covid-19 outbreak. He did so alongside his 98-year-old right-hand man, Charlie Munger.
