Ankr and Polygon Collaborate to Improve the Web 3.0

Supernets is an EVM-compatible, interoperable, highly performant, and customizable blockchain platform powered by the modular blockchain stack Polygon Edge. It enables developers to create their own decentralized network without having to worry about maintaining blockchain infrastructure. With the help of Polygon’s professional validator partners, supernets enable developers to quickly bootstrap decentralized validator sets.

Polygon Supernets has approved Ankr’s App Chains as an infrastructure vendor. It provides a complete engineering solution that combines the best in security, throughout, and customization. App Chains enable Web 3.0 developers to easily build custom blockchains uniquely suited to their application. Supernets’ premium tools and services enhance the building experience for developers even further.

AnkrApp Chain’s manager, Kev Silk, stated,“To drive Web 3.0 mass adoption, we must provide consumers with a better UX than Web 2.0. Enhancing the UX is possible only by streamlining Web 3.0 development, which is why we’re thrilled to partner with Polygon Supernets and provide developers with the necessary infrastructure to build efficiently.”

“Together, Ankr App Chain infra and Polygon Supernets can supercharge high-quality Web 3.0 games, financial products and other decentralized applications.”

Ankr and Polygon both want to make Web 3.0 development faster, cheaper, and easier. To bring Web 3.0 to the masses, the complexities of blockchain development must be removed while ensuring scalability and app-specific customization. Polygon Supernets allow developers to quickly create a customized, high-performance blockchain network.

Any smart contract or DApp written in Solidity, Vyper, or another language for Ethereum compatible networks can be deployed to a Polygon Supernet. Developers will be able to use any programming language, consensus mechanism, or development framework they want with Ankr’s App Chains.

“Polygon couldn’t be more excited to partner with Ankr for providing world-class tooling for building dedicated blockchains. With Polygon Supernets, enterprises, gaming and entertainment projects can rapidly power up their dedicated app-specific chains that are fine tuned for best-in-class EVM performance,” Parth Pathak, general manager of Polygon Supernets said.

“Polygon is bringing together the world’s leading Web 3.0 providers (like ANKR) into a comprehensive ecosystem that will empower any team to build their own blockchain. Supernets will help bring the next billion users to Web 3.0.”

Supernets can be built by Web 3.0 developers to run a specific application, project, or use case while being secured by the Polygon protocol, maintained by certified partners, and receiving further upgrades from the Polygon Edge architecture. By default, the Supernets are compatible with each other and the Ethereum blockchain.

Ankr will help solve two of the biggest barriers to Web 3.0 adoption by allowing developers to build their own blockchains on Polygon Edge: slow transaction speed and high gas fees. There is no competition for storage or computation with a custom blockchain for each DApp, allowing scalability to thrive.
